Creators own their tour content and confirm on publication that it is original or properly licensed. If you believe content on CityRats infringes your rights, tell us and we will act promptly.

What your notice must contain

  • Your full name, postal address and email address.
  • Identification of the work or right you own, with proof or a reference.
  • The exact tour name and stop where the material appears.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised.
  • A statement that the information is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
  • Your signature (electronic is fine).

Email support@cityrats.app with the subject "Copyright report", or write to [Company legal name], [Address].

What happens next

We acknowledge within 2 business days. If the notice is complete we typically disable access to the material while we review it, and we inform the creator, who may submit a counter-notice. Repeat infringers lose their publishing rights.

Counter-notice

A creator who believes removal was a mistake can reply with their contact details, an identification of the removed material, and a statement explaining why the use is lawful. We may restore the material if the complainant does not pursue the matter further.

Misuse

Knowingly false reports may make you liable for damages. Please be sure before you file.
